On December 19th, Mom and I journeyed to St. George for the day (with a car full of other lovely people and little ones) for a Jon Schmidt + Steven Sharp Nelson concert at the Tuacahn indoor theater.

On the journey up to St. George I worked on this little project.
I crocheted a little owl beanie for each of our nieces for christmas!
It was a good amount of work, but it was fun, I learned something new, and seeing them on these precious little girls made it all worth it!

After Christmas, as all of us trickled through/back to Henderson, we (G's parents and siblings+families) went to Jim and Rita's for our "Christmas Eve Party". We always go party at the Kemps' (our adopted grandparents) for Christmas Eve, but none of us were in town this year. So we had our own private party after Christmas.
