{Sunday Dessert}

I found these photas layin' around from a few months ago:
guys, don't look at my hair. It looks all dry and gross. After seeing this picture I started pulling coconut oil through my hair about once a month. It's been working wonders!
Photobucket

shirt: H&M
Skirt: found at an estate sale for a whopping $0.50
shoes: found at Plato's Closet
belt: i think I also found that at Plato's...and after squinting through these photos (I seriously could not look up because it was so bright outside) I realized I wore it upside down all during church. humunuh.

And oh yes, this reminds me. As I'm sure you figured out by now what with post about Girls Camp...I was released as the primary chorister at the end of April and put in as the Laurels Adviser. Talk about BitterSweet! Aycheewahwah! I love my little primary singers and miss them so much! I check in on them like those parents dropping their kids off at nursery...sigh. However- my week seems to be a lot less stressful knowing that I don't have to plan a jr. and sr. singing time anymore. Now I get a different kind of stress as I plan gospel doctrine-esque lessons for the 16-18 year old girls. Oy! It's been fun so far. We have a "bawl" every week!

{Monday Confessional} with a little bit of Sunday Dessert

I'll let the pictures do [most of] the talking here.
As hubby was out hunting for a "monster" buck this week, I did this:
kind of shocked at how bright, yet how dark, it looked at this point
all done!
I love that when I walked back to my stylist's chair, one of my good friends from High School, Cami, was working on another lady. So fun and such a nice surprise! Thanks for the chat Cam, and thanks for bringing in your chunk of love for me to play with!!!!

Now it's time for some Sunday Dessert:
jacket: found at Marshall's, $10
dress: Wal-Mart rack baby (several years ago), $8
boots: found at Ross (Jr. year of high school!) $25
hair makeover took place at Kaya Salon, off of the 2-15 and Valle Verde by Miss Becca Bates!
the [lack of good] lighting is making the hair look a lot darker.
 And that is all the pichas I have of the hair at this moment.

Now this duo is a totally possible option for Halloween.

Oh and, Husband LOVES IT!
He got in really late last night, I was already asleep. But today he told me his thoughts were: 1- who is that in my bed? 2- oh yah, she (me) said she had a hair appointment. 3- cool, my wife is hott.

{Sunday Dessert}...on a Monday

So, I really didn't wear this on Sunday. This Little Black number was worn to dinner on Wednesday evening. David got a half-off coupon for Terra Verde at the Green Valley Ranch Resort. yum.
I hate waiting for the camera to take the picture, and I get a little antsy and start doing funny things. I apologize for my awkwardness.

The Breakdown:
LBD: found at Ross $15
shoes: my wedding shoes! found at Journeys, of all places, just a few days before the wedding. Rocket Dogs: $30
hair: low twist with a cute mess to the side

{Sunday Dessert}

You guys, we're terrible at taking pictures on Sundays. Plus, I feel beyond awkward. I don't know how all those "fashion bloggers" take pics of themselves wherever they might be, because seriously, this was weird, and I'm standing at our door- I'm not even in public view.

side  shot

Slip: Kmart- $8
Dress: Ross- $27 (probably was cheaper, but I can't remember) (also, David found this dress in the store and insist it find a home in my closet)

{Sunday Dessert}...A New Daily Special

{Sunday Dessert}
A series dedicated to our "Sunday Best" dress.
I don't get dressed and "cutesy" all that often. I'm more of a hurry and throw on jeans and a t-shirt kind of gal. But I posses an inner fashionista that comes out full force on Sundays. When asked what his favorite outfit of mine is, David replies "Sunday Clothes!". I guess he likes me all dolled up. (hint hint Giulia! You should beautify yourself more often) Good thing he likes me just as much all tamed down. :) Either way, it's always a "treat" [dessert] when I don a pair of heels and lipstick.

and because we never did get around to taking any pictures today...here's the best of what I could find on my laptop. Which is really sad, because you can't really see the whole outfit + this is from Fall '09. haha! This series is off to a great start!! Oh well. I still like and use these two items frequently, so it counts. :)
the breakdown:
dress: Target clearance ~$8.00
belt: Plato's closet ~$3.00
