Getting closer!

I'm not sure if I posted the finished mailbox/new post project in its completed state:

Since taking the above photos, the grass has started to look green again....who wants to pay that water bill? ugh!

Our fridge decor, send us pictures and you could make it to the fridge too:

The previous new tub that Dad bought for downstairs just wasn't working out. Plumbing problems, I don't know. So he had to get another new tub. And this one didn't come with the shower walls with nice corner shelves like the other/older new one, so we had to tile the walls.

Also, got the rest of the bathroom floor tiled, new toilet put in, new vanity/sink put in, and some awesome lighting! Seriously, that place is brighter than any room upstairs. Yes, tiny bathroom. Originally I believe the plan was to extend the bathroom wall (where the tub is) to provide a little more space. But I think the final verdict was that you spend more time in the kitchen, so more space in the kitchen is better than a little more space in the powder room. Or something like that.

When we left Saturday night, the sink was in, oh and all the appliances were delivered earlier in the week- brand new stove/oven and fridge.

As I was unpacking the boxes of stuff that we piled in the second bedroom, there was a box with a few photo albums inside. I couldn't resist looking at some of my old pictures and not sharing:
My 6th grade attempt at scrapbooking- notice the fancy cut corners and how neatly I labeled everyone...directly on the photo:

Til' next time! ...whenever that may be. I only blog when we're at work waiting for boats. We don't have internet at the house in Rexburg....yet... And since this is our last shift for work, hooray!, I'm not sure when we'll have buzz again, or that we'll have anything terribly exciting to share anyway.
Toodleyhoo!

Giulia...Robbins

While David was out in the mountains this weekend doing some scouting, I stayed home due to prior commitments ( I was the hairdresser for the ladies of a wedding party. It was super fun! I was working on heads of hair from 8-1 and it got me thinking about what if this was my full-time job? hmm...). Anyway...Saturday night I had dinner over at Rob and Liz's- a home I was at ALL THE TIME growing up. At one point, Liz told the story of how we went to the mall when the highly anticipated fancy sports store opened (Dick's now, I can't remember what it was called then). Back then they always had the indoor rock climbing wall staffed and open to climb (not anymore). Courtney and I had never rock climbed before and of course Liz said yes when we asked if we could climb it. But then we got slammed with paperwork. If you were under 18, you had to have a parent/guardian sign the permit. Uhh....so for that afternoon I was Giulia Robbins. I think we were 8 or 9 years old. Who would have I guessed that this would actually be my name one day??? And as Liz pointed out to Courtney at my Bridal Shower- my name is going to be Robbins for longer than hers has been. Funny how things work out...

{Tipful Tuesday}

When you visit the Statue of Liberty, don't climb on anything.
I got off with a warning, but apparently...it's a federal offense and I should have been arrested! Who knew?
This morning, I was looking for a photo through some files on the computer and I came upon this one. Not at all what I was looking for, but it's one of my favorites from this high school choir trip.

And since I put up this photo, I tracked down these ones as well... Photobucket Caught in the act! Photobucket
I wish I had a picture of the officer talking to me afterwards. haha!

Also, these photos depict my natural hair color. After returning home from this trip, we spent the rest of our spring break that year in Utah. I had my cousin highlight my hair for the first time everrrr. It was so exciting!

Dancin' Away With My Heart

Before we resume pictures from the best week evah! Just did some fb browsing and came across this picture.
Did a bit of dancin' and movin' and groovin' this weekend. There is always fun to be had when Nessie is around. On the way to P-town on Thursday, the song "Dancin' Away With My Heart", came on the radio, and it was stuck in my head the entire time. Love that Lady Antebellum.
Now, let's not look at me gettin' down, but instead focus our attentions to David.
How did I marry such a handsome piece of man?
Thank you, Nicole, for the picture! ;)
And thank you Breezy for hosting such a great dance party! ;)
Also, wow, I need to get your birthday gift and hump day present to you. And I should probably delete that last sentence because it sounds very strange and awkward.
Wanna know what else I stumbled on while on the fb tonight?
 This old thing!
But more specifically, this:
we've loved each other all along.

I miss you, my bosom friend!
