{Monday Confessional} with a little bit of Sunday Dessert

I'll let the pictures do [most of] the talking here.
As hubby was out hunting for a "monster" buck this week, I did this:
kind of shocked at how bright, yet how dark, it looked at this point
all done!
I love that when I walked back to my stylist's chair, one of my good friends from High School, Cami, was working on another lady. So fun and such a nice surprise! Thanks for the chat Cam, and thanks for bringing in your chunk of love for me to play with!!!!

Now it's time for some Sunday Dessert:
jacket: found at Marshall's, $10
dress: Wal-Mart rack baby (several years ago), $8
boots: found at Ross (Jr. year of high school!) $25
hair makeover took place at Kaya Salon, off of the 2-15 and Valle Verde by Miss Becca Bates!
the [lack of good] lighting is making the hair look a lot darker.
 And that is all the pichas I have of the hair at this moment.

Now this duo is a totally possible option for Halloween.

Oh and, Husband LOVES IT!
He got in really late last night, I was already asleep. But today he told me his thoughts were: 1- who is that in my bed? 2- oh yah, she (me) said she had a hair appointment. 3- cool, my wife is hott.

{Monday Confessional}

Confession: I have not cut my hair since November 2009. Ack!!! I haven't had it trimmed either. Terrible I know. If ever I see a bad patch of split ends, I grab that chunk of hair, take some scissors to it and call it good. Really terrible, I know. I think the only reason my hair has yet to break off at my ears is because 1) remember how I wash it only like 2 times a week??? 2) I can count on my two hands the number of times I've blow dried it the past 2.5 years. 3) I curl it mayyyybeeee once a week. Usually I wear it just straight or in some sort of ponytail, bun, or braid. 4) Minimal product usage.
So, see- it's really not all that terrible, is it? Sigh. it is, it is. I know, I know.
It's just that I don't live close to Andrea anymore and she's the only one I trust to cut my hair. (and I don't want to go to some salon down here and pay $80 for a stinkin' hair cut!!!)
Now that I've completely debunked any credentials I had for Hairy Thursday posts...
...let's move on to other hair related items of business:
I want to get bangs again. But in order to do this, I would, you know, have to go get my hair cut. Good thing though that David got me a groupon for a hair cut and deep condition treatment at Kaya salon...I just need to actually call and set up an appointment. But I'm having issues with doing that because I've never done such a thing before! The only people that have cut my hair are my mom and Ann, my cousin. Seriously folks, I'm having some serious psychological issues at work here. And they make me laugh at myself.
Anyway...I'm hoping that by posting this I will finally get my act together and make the phone call and get my hair taken care of.
But I want your opinion: Bangs or no?

{Monday Confessional}...A new daily special

{Monday Confessional}
Oh...Monday, Monday. Since there's not much to be said about Mondays, let it be our day to share a secret or two.  :) sound fun?

Now that I have to give up some of my ghosts (confession![the first one]: this isn't really going to be a series dedicated to spilling our deep, dark secrets because a) this would not be the place to do so, and b) I'm not sure if we have any skeletons in our closets; it's more or less a way to get me to commit to post something, anything, interesting-ish) I don't know which one to start with. Eek! I'm nervous.

um...I really don't know what to say...

Ok, I have one: since I haven't mentioned it on here yet, I guess I'll officially announce that:

I've been doing the "Insanity" workouts! And let me tell you, it is insane. But I love it! (and David detests it. mwahaha.) Next week if I'm super brave I'll post my progress results.
My favorite quotes so far: That shniz was bananas!
and
"You can freakin' do it!"
November '09 when I was doing p90x. We were on the GBSN (ghib-sin) diet.
I  will get my body back, I will!
What did I lose my body to, you ask? The married million of course!
But since it's Monday Confessional, I'll be completely honest and admit that I went on the downhill slope as soon as volleyball season was over senior year. Fui! Just look at me in the pictures in the post below. Scary!
