I can't believe she's not here anymore!!!!

Let it be known that a few moments after taking these pictures, she stood up all by herself!  We couldn't get her to do it again afterwards, but it was late and it was past her bedtime. Also- take note of the bear. David won that from one of "the claw" machines.

For those wondering why this little slice of cuteness has had more than a few appearances on the blog: this is Miss Amelia. One of our nieces. And her fam joined us in the basement for the summer. Joseph had an internship down here with a law firm. And on Friday they loaded up and headed back to Provo for the final year of law school. You guys should have just stayed Friday night. We needed to beat you in a basketball game. ;) But really, those 6 weeks went by way too fast!

This morning I wasn't greeted with Miss Millie's happy smiles, so proud of herself for having escaped Mom's watch and making it to our room. No goodnight kisses. No afternoon swims. No messy lunches. No late game nights. 

humunuh. we kind of don't know what to do without you all here anymore!
